Recently we have some upgrade version from 2020a to 2023b.
Some users complain that they lost access to the documentation from help. We discover that the product documentation is with 2023a possible to run by web – to reduce the installation footprint – so we understand that, and to avoid install so big package with documentation we wanted to allow users connect to the documentation from their devices. As of documentation which I checked we provided proxy server and test connection is success. From web browser the communication is working for users also and they see all the functions. But when they want to use the help center in the Matlab the page is still blank :

Best to contact the technical support of TMW for this issue - Contact Support.

After Installation
Access the documentation as you normally would. If MATLAB still tries to open documentation on the web, go to the Home tab, and in the Environment section, click Preferences and select MATLAB > Help. Under Documentation Location, select Installed locally. Then Install Documentation.

Hello Beata
I see that you are experiencing an issue with MATLAB R2023b where attempting to open MathWorks documentation using the 'help' command results in displaying blank documentation.
Installing the documentation locally and configuring MATLAB to use it instead of the online version can resolve the issue of blank documentation. Here are the steps:
  1. Download the Offline Documentation: Detailed instructions for downloading the offline documentation package can be found here: https://www.mathworks.com/help/releases/R2023a/install/ug/install-documentation-on-offline-machines.html. Please perform this step on a machine that has internet access.
  2. Configure MATLAB for Offline Documentation: After installing the offline documentation on your machines, you might need to configure MATLAB to prioritize the local documentation. Guidance for this configuration is provided in this MATLAB Answers post: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/1936264-how-can-i-configure-matlab-to-use-the-local-offline-documentation-instead-of-the-online-documentation.
Hope this information helps you moving forward
