Hey Mathworks Team,
i am looking to export an Simscape Model using the fmi export by Dymola. Can you tell me how the internal Simscape Solver is exported to the fmi?
the goal is to start up a Co Simulation with Simpack MBS Software using the Simsacpe hydraulic Toolbox
Thanks and best regards,
Marvin

You mention Dymola. Why not modelling the hydraulics in Dymola (there is a Hydraulics Library) and export to Simpack via FMI. This is a well supported tool chain.

Can you let my know if you are aware of the information posted here? That includes the use of R2015a as well as the go-to team at MathWorks.

The information supplied there won't help Marvin to solve his problem. Mathworks need to support native export of FMI for both Model Exchange and Co-Simulation. In Marvin's case I deem the FMU-CS vital and 3rd party export products available will not do the trick. Simscape export requires FMU-CS such that Mathworks' solvers actually solve the Simscape part. The model exchange option may become cumbersome, because the recieving end may not be optimised to deal with the equations produced from the code export.
