My Quick Access bar is filling up:

What happens when I want to add more buttons than will fit on the top blue strip, even after I've maximally stretched the editor window? Is there any way to expand the Quick Access bar into the empty region next to the Run block?

It might not be what you want but the only way I can find is to do Home/Favorites/Quick Access (from the tool ribbon) and then when the window pops up check the "Favorite Commands" checkbox. Then, after you apply it, you'll get a little folder with a drop down arrow on it, on the Quick Access toolbar, that you can click on to see all of your favorite commands.
To create a new favorite, do Home/Favorites/New Favorite, then type in your code and check the "Add to quick access toolbox" checkbox.

I said how to create a button not for you but for others who might stumble upon this. For you I said that I don't know how to expand the ribbon and the only thing I know you can do is to have the functions be added to the drop down list on the quick action toolbar. So they're there, just not immediately and constantly visible. Sorry that's not ideal but it might be the best you can get unless you get a much wider display.
