Hello,
I have plotted the change in data with time. Initially the curve increases by f(x) = 2 and later curves so it becomes 0. I would like to find a point on this straight line at which any small variations become insignificant so similar cases may be treated the same. I have the curve fitting toolbox.
Can someone suggest the method I should use to accomplish this, please? Gavin.

The point on what straight line? You said you were working with curves.
You are going to need to define "insignificant" for your purpose.

I am working on a method which should define a point at which changes are expected which may be used as a cutoff point. Thanks.
