Problem getting old desktop layout using 2025a

69 views (last 30 days)
In old versions of MATLAB (pre 2025a) I could put the editor to the right of the command window, with the command window in the center of the screen (with things to its left). This no longer seems to be possible. Am I missing something? See below for old layout that I can't reproduce.

I was able to set it up in a similar manner as follows:
To get to this layout, I started with the default layout where the editor is in the center and the command window is below it.
Then, once the command window is in the centre you can drag the editor tab to the right.

Thanks! I couldn't figure it out but the crucial step is selecting "move command window: center" You may consider adding wording to that effect rather than simply showing the photo. Thanks again!
