The Code Generation pane in the Filter Builder app does not show the option to generate code with HDL Coder. The Help file of the Filter Builder app mentions: "For more information on this option, see Opening the Filter Design HDL Coder GUI From the filterbuilder GUI ." When I click the link I get a popup that says that the requested page is part of a product that is not installed. The thing is I did install HDL coder and I double checked that my university license includes HDL coder, and it does. What can I do to fix this?

HDL Coder and Filter Design HDL Coder are two separate products. To generate HDL directly from the Filter Builder App you need Filter Design HDL Coder.
Without that product, you may be able to design the filter with the Filter Builder and then create an identical filter in Simulink using filter blocks. The resulting Simulink model could then be used to generate HDL code with.
