There is a folder in my path, which cannot be removed. The folder is not a default MATLAB toolbox, it was added by me previously. What to do?

What steps did you take to remove it and verify that the removal failed?

Hello Mr M,
MATLAB function "rmpath" is used to remove a particular folder from the search path.
For Example:
Path of the folder to remove: C:\Unwanted\Folder
On MATLAB Command line:
>> rmpath('C:\Unwanted\Folder');
This will remove the folder from your path. To check if the folder has been removed you can use "path" on MATLAB command line, which will give all the folders in your path. For Example:
>> path
Note: If you want to restore your path to default, "restoredefaultpath" command an be used, which will reset path to factory installed state i.e. when MATLAB was installed..
More information on rmpath, path and restoredefaultpath can be found in the documentation link below:
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Sudhanshu Bhatt
