I am trying to add a cell value to a number but i got this error. Cell contents reference from a non-cell array object.

the instruction is:

vect{cell,1}{1,1}=sum(vect{cell,1}{1,1})+occ_d;

No, that code is going to give you the error

Error using cell
Not enough input arguments.

You need to pass at least one parameter to cell() such as

vect{cell(3,7),1}{1,1}=sum(vect{cell(3,7),1}{1,1})+occ_d;

This in turn would lead you to an error about trying to use a cell array as an index, but at least you would be past the initial error.
