Using OSX El Capitan I got the error ### Failed to generate all binary outputs. when I tried to upload to a Freescale FRDM-KL25Z.
I noticed that the following lines appear when I open MatLab R2015b:
Exception "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com/intellij/codeInsight/editorActions/FoldingData"while constructing DataFlavor for: application/x-java-jvm-local-objectref; class=com.intellij.codeInsight.editorActions.FoldingData

It is not clear that the two issues (Java error on startup and the build failure) are related. Can you please provide a copy of the output for the Diagnostics Viewer in Simulink for a failed build? You can save the output to a text file by clicking the floppy disk icon in the Diagnostic viewer and either attach it to this post, or open it, copy the contents, and past it into a reply. This information will be more helpful in diagnosing the issue.

We have the same problem with Simulink. It does not generate all binary outputs. Here you can find our Error Log: Matlab Answers Link
It would be great to solve it.

The error looks like being caused by a third party tool(probably intellij). If the software would not crash other applications or services, you can try uninstalling that third party tool and seeing if the error goes away.
