Hi, I wanted to use streamline function to plot velocity vectors but I don't see anything on the plot after I have loaded my files into Matlab. However, I can see the vectors when I included quiver command. Why is this so?

Sir, I cant get your question. Are you talking about stream line in aerodynamics?

Hi Frank,
Kindly share the code and associated files to help debug the issue. You can follow these steps to resolve some of the common reasons for streamlines not to be plotted :
  • The velocity components are defined over the entire grid without any NaN values, ensuring that streamlines can be plotted across the domain.
  • The axis function is used to set the limits, ensuring that all streamlines are visible within the plot area.
Kindly refer to the documentation by executing the following command in MATLAB command window to know more about 'streamline' function :
doc streamline
