how to take first some numbers from sequence?

Suppose I have a sequence of n numbers x=[1,2,6,5,5,44,12,12,12,65,9,9,9,8,33,6,5,4,4,8,7,98,98,61,61,61...n] how to take first s=14 numbers, like y=[1,2,6,5,5,44,12,12,12,65,9,9,9,8]
