After creating a display in GUI, I'm getting this error:
Error using feval
Undefined function 'status' for input arguments of type 'matlab.ui.Figure'.
Error in gui_mainfcn (line 264)
feval(gui_State.gui_OutputFcn, gui_hFigure, [], gui_Handles);
Error in Untitled(line 42)
gui_mainfcn(gui_State, varargin{:})

Somewhere in your GUIDE-created GUI, you have a callback that is programmed to invoke a routine named 'status', such as if at one time you had had a uicontrol with tag 'status' and you had edited the code for it out of the .m file instead of asking GUIDE to remove the item.
