Graphic issue with Matlab

This message appeared on the command window then the color specification fails followed this.
Warning: MATLAB has disabled some advanced graphics rendering features by switching to software OpenGL. For more information, click here.
I tried my code on other desktops with Matlab still the same message appeared with the same problem. Is it an internal Matlab software issue or is the graphic card incompatible with Matlab?

I'm experiencing this error message running 2016b via X11 forwarding. Haven't had this issue until the upgrade. Any suggestions are appreciated.

It is more likely a graphics card incompatibility. In particular are you using Intel HD2000 graphics cards? Those are able to handle some parts of OpenGL but not the full range.

The desktops I tried used intel i7 processor with no graphic card other than the inbuilt on the CPU. My laptop is with AMD A10,and AMD Redeon R9 M290X. Same problem for both intel and AMD chips.
Is there a particular graphics command that it is failing on?
