How to test my filter design?

I had desined a band pass filter with Agilent VEE pro 9.2 and I would like to now how to test this design with an input signal and how to check the output.

You can design a filter with the same specifications using FDAtool in Simulink...Then you can generate a signal to try the filter... Both filters must have the same response...

I allready did it. But, I want to know how to do it using Agilent VEE pro.

In general, a filer is designed according to specifications such as passband, stopband, passband ripple, stopband attenuation, etc. If you could get the coefficients from your design, you can use FVTOOL to plot your response and then see if it satisfies your specification.

You ca try convol the filter with itself and check if the filter is meeting it specification as you wanted
