In respect to what tool are you asking this about? Is this the curve fitting toolbox?

Hi,
When using 'fit' command, extract its outputs. Based on the fit you have asked for, like linear, polynomial etc., the coefficients of the fit curve is available in the outputs.
You can use the coefficients and the known fit equation, and the specific dependent variable (x), you can get the fitted curve. By changing the dependent variable you can even intrapolate or extrapolate the fit.
Hope it helps.
