Video input in GUI with mac

I'm trying to open the camera to take the input video but it displays a white window with a red cross
Here's my code:
% vid=videoinput('macvideo',1); imaqhwinfo(vid);
preview(vid);

Hello DSB,
Disabling the firewall should help you fix the issue.
