What is the most recent release of MATLAB someone can get if the license expired Sept 30, 2016?

More specifically, can a license that has a Service End Date of Sept 30, 2016, get release R2016a? Thanks!

That does not sound right. As far as I understand, you are entitled to use up to the latest release as of the time your software maint expired; that would be R2016b in the case of Sept 30, 2016 expiry, as R2016b was release September 15, 2016.

Actually, Walter is correct - my apologies. If you have any further questions or if you are having difficulty obtaining the version you want I would recommend contacting MathWorks customer service, as they can provide you with the support you need.

You can login to your account and try to download the wanted version: https://www.mathworks.com/downloads/web_downloads/select_release. Install it and try to activate it. If this is working, I'm convinced that it is covered by your license.
