Matlab is not showing exact form of the eye diagram

Dears All i am importing optisystem eye diagram data into matlab in the form of excel sheet.After drawing the eye diagram,i am not getting the exact shape of aye rather just a curve i am getting from matlab.plz let me know what is the problem and how to solve it.I am attaching the Fig.1 which is eye diagram of optisystem and Fig.2 which is eye diagram obtained from matlab.
