error when plotting in 3 dimensions

I am attempting to plot a plane in three dimensions, but my matlab (2013b) returns an error message:
libGL error: No matching fbConfigs or visuals found libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
How else can I plot a plane in 3dimensions with data points?
