i want create a column 2, which is made from the Excel formula:

10 2
1 0.21
7 1.16
8 1.5
2 0.35
i want to do it from matlab. But i don't know where do i start...

Start with posting some Matlab code, which creates the existing inputs. Currently the readers cannot guess, if you made this table like layout for clarity, or if the data are really a table object.
Then please explain the meaning of the "RC", "R" and "C" as well as "[-1]" notation. Of course, some Excel profis will recognize what you want, but this is a Matlab forum.

x1 = [2;3;10;1;7;8;2] %input column vector
x2 = 'manipulation you want to perform as a function of x1'
