Parallel computing with matrix

I am trying to build a large matrix A using a multiprocessor machine. The elements each need to be computed but they do not depend on each other. Is there a way to do this with the Parallel computing toolbox? I may just have to wait for a day when shared memory becomes a reality for us.

Yes, that's exactly the kind of thing the Parallel Computing Toolbox allows.

Well, when the question lacks technical details, what can you expect? The help for the toolbox will have lots of examples, with very specific technical details, to help you.
