How to Parallel Computing

I have a code that runs very slow and infact takes a long time to execute. I have across a workaround to this, "Paralle Computing". I am new to this concept, can anyone tell me how I can execute the same code using Parallel Computing.

If you don't have the parallel toolbox, you are out of luck. If you DO have that toolbox, then why not read the documentation?

You cannot come to conclusion straight away that parallel computing will solve the purpose. First you need to have a look on the code. See whether it is vectorised or not. Check is there any scope to make it faster and then think of parallel computing.
