Hi All,
Having difficulty solving the below 2 equations
syms theta V
e=V*sin(theta) % Equation 1 = V*sin(theta)
Vs=int(e,0,theta)
Vs=rewrite(Vs,'sin') %Equation 2 = 2*V*sin(theta/2)^2
Now I want to solve both w.r.t "e"
% Final equation 3 should be = (Vs/V)^2 - 2*(Vs/V)+1= 1-(e/V)^2 or something similar.
I have tried "Subs", "Solve", "equationsToMatrix" and run out of ideas. I end up with struct with fields and when solved I get blanket "0's" across the board or 0 in general.
Any ideas, anyone?
As always, many thanks.
Frank

syms E
simplify( subs(Vs, theta, solve(E==e,theta)) )
