DC Servo Controlling using neural networks

I am a student of electrical engineering and I want to produce a neural controller that models the PID controller for controlling a dc servo motor. I am using NN tools and I want to train my neural controller by using training data from a DC servo motor that i have modeled on Simulink by using simple PID and transfer function blocks. The problem that I m facing is that I am unable to train my neural controller for step response. Please guide me, and can u also tell me how to produce an ADALINE block for the said purpose (i.e. DC SERVO CONTROLLING).
