I have some .mp4 files that I would like to play using Matlab-the video plays fine but the sound is not extracted from the file using VideoReader-is there any way to do this?

I have some video files created using a camcorder and an iPhone that I would like to use in Matlab itself. I can extract the video just fine using the VideoReader and VideoWriter functions and playback using the built in movie function. However the VideoReader does not get the sound from the file so I can not playback sound. Is there anyway to retrieve and playback both the video and sound in today's versions of Matlab

https://www.mathworks.com/help/vision/ref/vision.videofilereader-system-object.html vision.VideoFileReader() is the only Mathworks routine that can do that.
