What does your "wandering baseline" look like? does it just look like linear trend? piecewise linear?
If so, you can just use detrend() with 'linear'. You can supply a vector of breakpoints if you want to remove a piecewise linear trend.

How to remove noise and make correction of baseline wandering from 0 point?
