use 'matlabpool open' but not use parallel structure.

1 view (last 30 days)
I use matlabpool('open','profile1',16) before evaluate my code, and there is no 'pafor','spmd' or any other parallel code. it means I do not use parallel computing.
BUT when I evaluate my code ,I detect data transmission between all the labs(or workers). Is there anyone know WHY. THANK YOU for taking your time.

It's pure speculation if you don't post the code and/or functions you are using.

There are some functions/toolboxes which has builtin support for parallel processing without any coding. So i guess you might be calling some of those functions.
