Symbolic Tool Box to Parameter

Is there a method for using the matlab symbolic toolbox in one workspace to manipulate/differentiate values, then use the outputs of these symbolic functions as variables which can be defined as parameters in a new workspace?
What I am looking to do is run symbolic Jacobian/coriolis and centrigugal calcualtions for use in the euler lagrange EOMs for a manipulator and use the symbolic values from these calculations to later define parameters for the same system. I would like to simply transfer the outputs via calling the original workspace variables rather than manually defining in the numerical parametized code. Any suggestions?
