How to recover my command window that disappeared

39 views (last 30 days)
Hi all,
I had my matlab opened last night and I just logged off my desktop without closing the window - on purpose.
This morning I came in, logged in, then Matlab asked me if I wanted to save the .mlx file, so I saved, thinking why not.
Then it suddenly closed my Matlab program so I reopened, and opened the .mlx file that I saved but it did not show me the command window, where I had all of my code and tables created last night.
I am completely new to Matlab, I just started yesterday, but is there any way that I can recover my command window and tables (in my worksapce).
I am using R2019a.
Thank you!

Probably not, but https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/commandhistory.html can help you find previously entered commands.
