What do you expect the final matrix to look like in the 27000 rows for which some columns have no data while others do? NaNs?

Kalyan's cell array solution is certainly the simplest from standpoint of construction--that doesn't address what the point of creating the array in the first place is -- what do you intend to do with the data once you've got it? That could influence strongly what route to take for storage--operating on individual channels one-at-a-time the cell array is simple--to deal with more than one simultaneously for cross-correlations or other things, maybe an "ordinary" array w/ NaN could be more useful.

Do the cell array
final_mat={1signal_mat,2signal_mat, .......}
Here 1signal_mat,2signal_mat etc are matrices with any sizes
