Simulink 2019 - external mode

I upgraded 2018a, to 2019b. I use a model that is cross compiled and deployed. I then use "connect to target" in external mode to interact with the hardware.
My install of Simulink 2019b seems to be missing "external" as a pull down option. I see "Normal" , "Accelerator", "Rapid Accelerator". But no "External"
I'm not sure why... did I not install a necassary add-on?

I'm having the same issue. I actually can't see the dropdown list at all with the option for external in this build of MatLab.
Well, now I see the option but it's grayed out.
A mí me pasa lo mismo.

Try the tab "Monitor and Tune" inside the "Hardware" tab.

I did finally find it! But I sure wish there was some hot keys, because I am doing a lot more clicking this way.
Can tou tell where you found the option. I can't find it.
"Hardware", "Monitor & Tune", "Connect"
Then
"Hardware", "Monitor & Tune", "Start" To begin execution if you've deployed it.
Hallo Jason,
If possible can you make a screenshot of it and post it.

Maybe you already solved this one, if not... here's the screenshot to do the external mode run... (R2021a)
