Livescript is always loading macOS Catalina update Version 10.15

Ever since I downloaded the macOS Catalina update version 10.15 my livescripts are unable to open. My livescript editor is always loading and I don't know how to fix it. My livescripts were working perfectly before the update. I've tried changing the region and restarting MATLAB but it does not seem to be working. Any advice?

Hi there,
I faced the same issue.
But after updating MATLAB 2019a to "Update 8" , the problem solved.

Live Scripts are not supported in Catalina, but upgrading to R2019b will resolve the issue. The same is true with Help Browser.

I found out how to fix this! All you have to do is reinstall Matlab. Make sure that all files are saved before you reinstall and it should fix the livescript problem. To delete matlab all you have to do is drag the matlab icon from the applications folder to the trash bin then reinstall. Hope this helps!

This does not work for me... I installed Matlab 2018a to see if the problem was only with the 2019 version, but still not working...

I have the same issue. Stuck on "loading".
On Catalina 10.15.
Same issue here, also on Catalina 10.15.1. I also am having a multitude of graphical bugs, including the help pop-up window being blank.
What worked for me was changing the DNS address from the local router to 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1
Hope this helps!
