Hi,
I want to use amazon cloud service to perform some MATLAB simulation jobs. I have registered an Amazon AWS account and tried connecting to one of the free linux server. However, I can't find anything on the server. Does it mean that I need to install MATLAB and configure license on the server myself? If so, is there a instruction on how to do it step by step? Another questions is that if I switch to another server, does it mean that I need to reinstall again? Thanks for any help.

Hi Jipeng,
As per my understanding you want to run MATLAB in cloud and access it from your local desktop.
You don’t have to manually install MATLAB in the server instead you can use a prebuilt machine image to deploy a MATLAB reference architecture. Note: You will need a MATLAB license to use MATLAB in the server.
You can refer the following MATLAB documentation for more details:-
For MATLAB machine images :- Github repo matlab-on-aws
