how to convert EEG digital data into ASCII?

Am working on brain mobile interface could anyone tell me how to convert EEG data into ASCII? i have downloaded MATLAB EEGLAB can anyone guide to process with that?

Please provide any details. Does EEG data mean, that you have them inside a brain, or do you have an instrument to record them already, or are they recorded and available in the mentioned software, or written to disk, and if so, in which format? In addition "ASCII" is not an exact description of the wanted output.
