Hi,
I have obtained such imags from my experiment. In general, there are two main patterns in this image, one is wavy structure (starts from one end of the image and ends at the another end) and another one is circular patterns at the pockets of large wavy struture. I would like to get expressions/equations which should capture these structures as a function of amplitude, wave length and width of the wavy structure. Can anyone help me on this regard?
Please note that I am not that familiar with the pattern/feature recognition.

Since you're not familiar with pattern recognition or (probably) deep learning, would you be willing to consider using manual methods, like drawline() etc., just so you can get something and move ahead with your project? I'm assuming your project is to measure those features in whatever way works, rather than to develop an image processing method to do it automatically.

@Image Analyst: Thank you very much for your comment. Could you suggest me any image processing function/operation/subroutine that may help me to distinguish the two main features (wavy structure and circular patterns in the pocket of wavy structure)? If it is possible, that might help me to quantify the width, wavelength, amplitude of the wavy structure and also the size of the circular pattern
