In matlab 2020a , temp files are written in the model directory instead of system TEMP directory

When I open model of 201b with matlab 2020a I see some temporary files

1. folder dig which contains folders like 'blob_stotage', 'Code Cache' , 'Cache' , 'Cookies'etc
2. Folders with uuid numbers example {22261041-3b50-4d5c-89c6-ede218bbb0b5}

I checked in 2019b , these were present in 'C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp\'

I checked the TMP variable and tempdir, they are proper and they point to 'C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp\'

type "tempdir" at the MATLAB prompt. This should give you the location MATLAB is using for the temp directory.

I have a similar problem and I have not found the solution. temp dir is correct but dig folder is causing problems. Was this ever resolved?

I have the same problem. It is very annoying to always delete the created folders manually. The tempdir is correctly set to 'C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp\'
