Can't change font size on display block in R2012b

2 views (last 30 days)
I created some SimPowerSystems models in R2012a with Simulink display blocks that have increased font size (changed using Format > Font command). I've converted these models to R2012b, and now the display blocks use the default font size. In R2012b, the Format > Font command appears to affect only the font for the name of the block, not the font for the displayed value.
The output of this model serves as test data for the software product my company makes, so we need the large displays for demonstrating our test lab simulation to customers. Is the display block font size a bug, or is there some other way to change the font in R2012b? Note that I can open the converted R2012b model in R2012a and the font sizes are large again, so I'm thinking it's a bug. Does that mean I need to skip R2012b entirely and use R2012a until the next release comes out?

Sorry that you had to run into this issue. Could you please contact MathWorks Technical Support to see if they have any recommendations?

Thanks, I did so and they determined that it is a bug.

Per Mathworks tech support, the inability to change the font size of a display is a bug in R2012b. It is not present in R2012a nor in the pre-release of R2013a.
