Dear
I have made a plot composed by 4x4 subplot
Matlab reduce the size of each subplot to acomodate the plot in the size of my monitor. The aspect ratio is ok but I would like to increase the size of each subplot, and hence the size of the whole plot, because I plan to save the figure as an image format and insert in another file
How can I increase the size of subplots
Thanks in advance

You can increase the size of the figure window, which will increase the size of each axes. For example, maximize the window.
f = figure();
f.WindowState = 'maximized';
% subplot(2,2,1)
% ..
Also, exporting high-quality images does not require to increase the size of the axes. You can get a good resolution at any axes size. For example, see exportgraphics(): https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/exportgraphics.html and specify the resolution.
exportgraphics(gca, 'image.png', 'Resolution', 300)

try combining subplots to increase the size
subplot (2,2, [1 3])
subplot (2,2,2)
subplot (2,2,4)
