Hello,
I am an undergraduate engineering student currently doing a stage, and I am dealing with Li-ion batteries. I have been requested to estimate battery parameters (not necessarily with a high degree of precision) using the Curve Fitting Toolbox, given the experimental data from various charge and discharge cycles at different currents (1C, 2C and C/3). Now the problem is, I have only ever used MatLab for computational heat transfer, and I really don't know where to start, nor can I seem to get any help from my tutor... I keep asking where to start and he keeps telling me to search in literature. I found a thread here but the experiment was carried on differently, with pulses and not with continuous current, and I couldn't find the scripts so unfortunately it didn't help me.
I got that the battery may be modeled with an equivalent circuit with an open circuit voltage, an internal resistance and many RC branch, but I can't figure out how fitting datas may help me find those parameters. If anyone could help me, even just by explaining how to do so with a circuit with only 1 RC branch, they would really lend me a huge hand.
Thank you all in advance

I also have same doubt. Did you find out what to do?
