a question of general form Gabor filter

Hello,

I am trying to implement a Gabor filter given in one paper, where the equation of the filter is <http://patentimages.storage.googleapis.com/WO2008054396A1/imgf000012_0001.png>.

My question is that this general form is different from an equation given in wiki page. And I saw most cases of the implementation is based on the code provided by wiki, i.e. a so called even-symmetric gabor filter. In this equation, it has a imaginary part, the last haft section of the equation. Thus, how I can deal with this while implement it. Is there any difference between the general form and those implementations based on even-symmetric form?
