how to call and read input data from external port?

I have input data coming from external port DAQ and i have instilled the matlab driver to read the data in DAQ toolbox, now i want to know how call and read this data in the command window for further programming?

What device brand and model is it? Which MATLAB version are you using? Which operating system? If you are using a version of MS Windows then are you using MATLAB in 32 bit mode or 64 bit mode?

Hello Mr. Watter, I'm using OMEGA DAQ, from UK, it work with IoTech also I'm using matlab 2010a on my win7 32 bit!

OMEGA is not a supported hardware vendor.

I'm using Omega DAQ module OM-DAQ-USB-2401, which Omega does not mention will work with Matlab. Is this the same model that worked for you? Did you have to download an ioTech driver to get it to work? Thanks!
