How do i set my range in a variable value

3 views (last 30 days)
How do i make my x1 and x2 go from 0.0 to 0.2 and 0.2 to 0.4
I know its a simple question, but it wont work.
b = 0.040
h = 0.040
P = 12275
E = 20010^9
I = (b*h^3)/12
L=0.4
x1 = 0,0.200
x2 = 0.200,0.400
v1 = (P*x1^2)/(12*E*I) - (P*(L/2)^2*x1)/(4*E*I)
v2 = (P*x2^3)/(12*E*I) - (P*(x2-(L/2))^3)/(6*E*I)-(P*(L/2)^2*L)/(4*E*I)
Thanks in advance

For example,
x1=linspace(0,0.2,100);
x2=linspace(0.2,0.4,100);
