            Hello,
my hydraulic system in Simscape Fluids is powered by a generic diesel engine using the generic engine Block. Now I want to replace this engine with an eletric motor. I installed the Simscape electrical and driveline add on. There a big number of eletric motors, which are way to complicateted for my system. I want an easy to setup generic electic motor block with input values like max. torque at max. rpm, like with the generic engine block.
Is there such a block?
Thank you very much for your help
Kind regards,
Sebastian

        Hello Sebastian
Based on your description, I believe that the Motor & Drive System Level block (see link below) comes closest to what you are looking for. It is fed by a DC voltage source and allows you to control speed for instance by regulating torque. you parametrize the motor with max torque and max power or tabulated speed-torque envelope.
Hope that helps
