I have a callback function in a GUI. In this function there is a another function.
When i run my GUI i expect to get an error message when the user gives a wrong input. Instead i get the error along with a few other errors that happen because of the wrong inputs in the callback function. The error pops up in the function inside the callback and not the callback itself.
Is it possible to have this error message displayed alone and not the error messages that follow?

It really depends on what you are trying to do. I think you are probably looking for: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/58695-prevent-matlab-from-displaying-full-stack-on-error
but since you are using callbacks you probably also need something like
