State feedback versus cascade control systems

Please see the attached .pdf for detail. The equivalence of the state feedback controller (SFC) and the cascaded controllers is discused. Conditions under which such an equivalence occurs are provided. Lack of such equivalence for MIMO systems is presented. Defaulting to SFC is proposed.
