Simscape Analysis of a Bandpass Subwoofer

This submission contains a Simscape model file and a short paper describing the analysis of a 4th order bandpass subwoofer.
A bandpass subwoofer encloses the moving coil driver in two or more enclosures with one or more port tubes providing the radiation to the far field. It is designed to produce a relatively narrow band of low frequency sound in a frequency region where a sealed or ported enclosure would require larger the diaphragm motion to produce the same sound pressure level. The expectation thus is that the bandpass subwoofer packaging can provide lower distortion than the same driver in a sealed or ported enclosure.
