A multi-pulse rectifier is a type of AC-to-DC converter that uses multiple phases and transformer configurations

              What is a Multi-Pulse Rectifier?
A multi-pulse rectifier consists of:
- Multiple 6-pulse bridges (typically 6, 12, or 18 pulse systems)
- Phase-shifting transformers to create shifted AC inputs
- Diodes or thyristors as switching devices
