What is a Multi-Pulse Rectifier?
A multi-pulse rectifier consists of:
  1. Multiple 6-pulse bridges (typically 6, 12, or 18 pulse systems)
  2. Phase-shifting transformers to create shifted AC inputs
  3. Diodes or thyristors as switching devices
