Basic Topology – Bridgeless Boost PFC
✅ Common Configurations:
  1. Totem-Pole Bridgeless Boost (popular for digital control)
  2. Conventional Bridgeless Boost
  • Uses two boost converters, each active during one half of the AC cycle.
🔁 How It Works:
  • In each half-cycle of the AC input:
  • One leg of the converter is active (depending on polarity)
  • The input current is shaped by controlling the switch duty cycle
  • The output DC voltage is regulated, and input current is sinusoidal
