  1. PV Array
  • Use Simscape’s PV Array block or custom PV model.
  • Inputs: Irradiance and Temperature
  • Outputs: Voltage VVV, Current III
  1. Boost Converter
  • Components:
  • Inductor
  • Capacitor
  • Diode
  • MOSFET or IGBT (controlled switch)
  • Converts variable PV voltage to regulated DC output
  • Duty cycle DDD is controlled by MPPT algorithm
