SSHF - Spectral-Sculpted Hybrid FIR
A flexible windowed-sinc design where the window is a product of a polynomial taper and an exponential tail. This gives precise control of transition sharpness, sidelobe roll-off, and transition asymmetry useful when you want an FIR with custom spectral shaping not achievable with standard windows.
ASMF - Adaptive Sparse Multi-band FIR
A sparse FIR design that uses a dictionary of shifted sinc atoms and selects a small number of taps with Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP) to approximate an arbitrary multi-band target. This yields very compact filters (few nonzero taps) for multi-band filtering great for low-complexity hardware or battery-powered nodes.
